So long Jecko's

We will miss you so much.... Emmilyne loves being with Ann Elizabeth. They play so well together. We enjoyed them while they were in small group and I grew to have a one of a kind friendship with Christine. She and I were in the same place in life... almost the same age with two children each... and them almost the same age, AND we think alike... that was amazing. She made for a great confidant. We will now need to continue that friendship long distance... I am sure that we can do it. Chris and I are already planning a trip in the spring to North Carolina. Here are pics of our last time together... we had dinner out!

Beckam is Two Months Old

Beckam went to the doctor for his two month check. He did great. He is 11 pounds, 2 ounces and 23 and a half inches. That puts him in the 45th percentile for weight and the 75th percentile for height. He is getting to be our big boy! It is so strange to have that high of percentiles... Emmilyne is so petite...in the 15th percentile for weight and 25th percentile for height (at her 2 year check). He also had 4 vaccinations and an oral vaccine. He came home and slept all afternoon.

Back from Kansas!

Wow.... it has been a long week. We had a great time as the pictures show. Emmilyne loves being at Granny and Pawpa's.

It is like I had 3 kids in Kansas.... Beckam, Emmilyne and Chris....Chris loves going to Kansas for the 4th as he can shoot off fireworks at Moms. (Texas says no fireworks... Kansas says yes)We had a good time.... I had a minor incident with a sparkler....but I will be fine....

Granny and Pawpa just spoil her. She has toys, a new pool (baby one, of course), new clothes and all the attention a two year old could ask for.

When we were in Oklahoma meeting Chris when he came to get us... she did not want her carseat moved over to our car because "she was going with Granny". Makes me want to cry.... she just loves it there.... but who wouldn't.

I got to see my good friend, Melisa while I was home. It is always good to see her. Her oldest had a BB game as Emmilyne calls it. Wow does Emmilyne love "BB games." That is all we have heard for a few days.

Happy Fourth of July

Well... we are still in Kansas visiting the grandparents and life could be better. Took Emmilyne to the doctor today...she ran temp last night of 102.6. Scared the crap out of me. Chris is in Texas working this week and it is just me here with mom and dad. She so often will have seizures with spikes in her temp and I can handle them with Chris... don't want to try it without. She is doing better now. She has a sinus infection and it was heading to her ears.... got it before it got to bad.

On a different note... the Jecko's will be leaving almost as soon as we get home... not happy about that either... Emmilyne will miss AE very much. They are like two peas in a pod. Emmilyne has asked about AE a few times while we have been on the trip. Not sure how to explain it to her yet.
